Welcome to REDBLUE Jiu Jitsu, a community built for and by BJJ Hobbyists. We understand the plight of the hobbyist because we are hobbyists. And let’s face it, most people training BJJ are just regular people with a lot going on outside of the gym. We have jobs, families, and other obligations – but we still love jiu jitsu and want to improve with every chance we get to step on the mat. That can feel hard to do when life happens. You get caught up at work and miss training. Your kid has soccer practice so you miss training. You get sick or injured and you have to miss training. Your schedule changed and now you can’t hit your favorite class. You had to take a big break for vacation or work travel and now it feels terrifying to go back to class – what if you forgot everything?!
We get it. We’re here to help. The goal of REDBLUE is to create a comprehensive, crowdsourced resource for the average joe jiu jitsu enthusiast. We’re here to help more beginners feel brave enough to get started. We’re here to help keep more blue belts on the mats. We’re here to bridge the gap when you can’t make it to train as much as you’d like to. We’re here to facilitate a community of hobbyists learning with and from each other. We’re here to entertain and educate because jiu jitsu is a million things – an outlet, a sport, self-defense – but it should also always be FUN.
Happy training!
